Age of Mythology is a real-time strategy video game. Like many other real-time strategy games, Age of Mythology is based on defeating enemy units and cities, building your own units and cities, and training villagers and fighters. In this way, players can defeat and conquer rival cities and civilizations. Players advance their tribe through four “eras”: starting in the Archaic Era, the player can upgrade to the Classical Era, the Heroic Era, and finally the Mythic Era.
