Kundalini is a latent power represented toward the base of the spine referred to as Shakti in yogic traditions. In the practice, when it is achieved there is an enhancement of the mental faculties culminating in the metamorphosis of the individual. This force of nature moves through the energy pathways known as Nadis and ascends along the chakras which are centers of energy located within the human body.
As already mentioned, chakras are our energy centers, and when these energy centers get blocked, Prana is unable to flow through them which means that there will be some sort of derangement whether physical, emotional, or mental. When these energy centers are blocked, they influence the body in connection to the energetic patterns indicating which chakra is blocked.
