We love flapjacks and make them regularly. But the children have a new found love of Lotus Biscoff so we started making Biscoff flapjacks – and they were too good not to share!
Biscoff flapjacks are so simple to make with typical flapjack ingredients. You just need butter or margarine, sugar, Lotus Biscoff cookie butter spread, golden syrup and porridge oats.
You melt the Biscoff spread, butter, golden syrup and sugar together before adding the oats and baking for just short of half an hour. Flapjacks really could not be easier to make.
Unlike other Lotus Biscoff recipes, we don’t use any Biscoff Biscuits for these Biscoff flapjacks although you could add some broken up Biscoff cookies to the top if you wanteGolden syrup is the best thing to use when making flapjacks but if you don’t have any, honey can be a good substitute although it will vary the flavour of the flapjacks slightly.
d to. We’ve also occasionally added some milk chocolate chips just before baking to create chocolate Biscoff flapjacks.
